If there's a task you're afraid of or dislike, ask yourself - How can I make this 10% more enjoyable?

You'll be surprised how scary tasks (like follow-up) or tedious tasks (like paperwork) will feel lighter.

The biggest reason for firing an agent is a lack of communication

The goal shouldn't be to communicate more. It should be to overcommunicate. When you do, people trust you, remember you, and refer you.

You don't need to be special, experienced, or wealthy to overcommunicate.
