Hi Friend,

Welcome to Realtor Wisdom. The idea is simple: receive a (very) short weekly email with bits of wisdom to improve your life through business. That's it.

Wisdom For Agents

One.

Meeting people fuels real-estate success, but amplification matters: Large communities and movements far surpass smaller, tight-knit groups.

- Large (~100+ people): Church, civic groups, kids' events, co-working.
- Medium (~20 people): BNI, fitness clubs, parent council.
- Small (~10 people): Wine nights, book clubs, poker night.

Casting a large net beats fishing with a single hook.

(PS. This doesn't mean avoiding small groups, but don't put them in the same bucket as large ones.)

Two.

The fastest way to sharpen your craft? Teach it.

When you explain what you know, your thinking gets clearer, your skills get sharper, and your credibility skyrockets.

You don’t need to be a top producer—just 1-2 steps ahead of the student. Even new agents can teach rookies. And they should.

Three

If you struggle with small talk, here’s the fix: Start in the middle.

Forget the robotic “Hi, how are you?”

Instead, drop into the conversation like you’re already mid-story.

Share a thought aloud - Comment, make an observation, offer a compliment.

Quote

One way to stand out is to look for pockets of low competition.

Wake up early—less traffic, fewer people. Go deeper or narrower in your field—less noise, more space.

People are drawn to where it is crowded. Look for the quiet spaces inside your areas of interest. Excellence often hides at the edges.
